The Art League was started in 1972 with about 20 members. Currently the League has close to 1,000 members, one-third of whom are artists, many of whom are well-known nationally and internationally. Officers for 2006 are: President, Cecilia Shuck; Vice-President, Dean Dizikes; Secretary, Barb Snow; Treasurer,Walt Graver; and Diane Dean is Gallery Administrator and can be contacted at hhalinfo@hiltonheadartleague.org.

The Hilton Head Art League maintains a permanent gallery at Pineland Station Suite 207 for the display and sale of artwork by member artists. All mediums are represented. The gallery is staffed by volunteers and is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. all year long.

An Active Education/Scholarship Program provides scholarships to students pursuing careers in the visual arts and makes contributions to arts education institutions.

A Workshop Program brings nationally-renowned art instructors to provide week-long workshops for members and others interested in improving their art skills. For more information about our Workshops, please click here.
